Specialized Welding Technology and Training (Continued)

Pulse Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

A unique vertical, semi-automatic welding process developed for completion of long seams on large diameter shells that do not fit in the Longitudinal Seam Welding Station. This equipment is also used on petalled heads for large diameter vessels.

Narrow Gap Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)

This is a specialized welding technology that Dacro has acquired that is used on heavy wall (6″ thk and up) vessels & reactors. The need for care and attention to detail in this process is imperative and substantially more rigorous that typical submerged arc welding.
